Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Ready to kick off the weekend with a handsome, enthusiastic sidekick? Meet Jeffrey! This young, energetic boy radiates pure joy for life and the great outdoors, making every moment with him an adventure. He's already got some basic training under his belt and is eager to learn more with his future family. Jeffrey is just one of over 200 dogs waiting at Chicago Animal Care and Control for their second chance at love and happiness. Come meet Jeffrey and his furry friends today!
I have been at the shelter since Nov 16, 2024.
I was found at 119Th I57 Expressway Chicago Il 60628.
Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL
The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.
Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
