My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hockley!

Hockley is a 5-year-old, 8.2-pound Yorkie who came to CAMO Rescue as an owner surrender alongside his siblings. This sweet boy is full of love and ready to find his forever home!

Hockley gets along wonderfully with other dogs and older kids, making him a fantastic companion for families. He enjoys running around outside with his furry friends, soaking up the sunshine, and living life to the fullest. When he's not playing, Hockley loves getting pets and simply being by your side. He needs a home that can be careful when opening doors as he can try to dart out them.

He's currently working on potty and leash training and is making progress but will need consistent guidance to master these skills. With a little patience and a lot of love, Hockley will thrive in a home where he can be active and adored.

If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and affectionate pup, Hockley might be the perfect fit for you!

Adoption fee is: $400

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
