My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DUZZY is currently being fostered in TEXAS.
Duzzy is an adorable boy, with an amazing demeanor.
His paperwork says he is 2 but I think he is closer to 4-5. He weighs 15 pounds.
Duzzy is a great mix of cuddly and playful. He does love to play and rough house but he is also gentle and loving.
He walks perfect on leash, he has great potty manners, he is not overly barky, he does not jump on people, he is great with other animals and kids.
He does not have a mean bone in his body. He is a sweet soul.
Rescued from Atascosa shelter.
He is so lovable and grateful to have been rescued. Duzzy will show thanks daily and he will absolutely adore his forever family. Duz is a great dog!

Submit Application

Please go to our webpage www.texaschihuahuarescuecanada.org and submit an online application.

2.
Approve Application

We will approve your application by calling your vet and your personal reference. Once you have been approved, it's time choose your pet!

3.
Pay Fee

Payment can be done by e-transfer to txcrcanada@gmail.com

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once your payment is confirmed, we will confirm your Transport Date with you, the day your new family member will arrive in Canada.

Additional adoption info

All existing pets must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. Please complete an application at www.texaschihuahuarecuecanada.com Vet check, personal reference and home visit required.
