My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ELLIE is a SILVER SHADED EXOTIC SHORTHAIR. She is spayed and has all of her claws. She is 6 years old. She is up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative, and is microchipped. She also just recently had a dental. She has perfect litter box habits as well.

Ellie is the sweetest little girl. She came from a home who really loved her, but due to big life changes, they were no longer able to care for her. She is not an overly needy kitty, but does enjoy human attention and pets. She definitely likes to hang out near her foster mom and check out what she is doing. She is a kitty that can be found usually hanging out lower to the ground and has not been too adventurous in climbing too high.

Ellis is pretty easy as far as maintenance. She does need her eyes wiped once per day as per typical of the breed. Her foster mom gave her a bath and she did really well with this. She likes to be brushed as well. Ellie does only eat wet food, so her new humans would need to continue this.

Ellie is living with other foster kitties currently and does well. She has also been exposed to the resident dog and has lived with another dog in the past with no issues. She would do well being a companion for other animals, but is not looking for a wrestling playmate and has lower energy. She also does well with children.

She really does have a wonderful personality. ADOPTION FEE $350. FOSTERED IN LOUISVILLE, TN.

More about this rescue

Our group is composed of wonderful foster volunteers who generously open their homes and hearts to abandoned and abused purebred cats as well as special needs domestics. We have between 25 and 30 foster homes active at any time and can accommodate over 100 cats. We are supported by: Leaders who manage the rescue; Transporters who get cats to us; Hosts who temporarily house cats waiting to get in; and Fans whose love, donations and appreciation keep us going. Everyone works hard to care for and find forever homes for our feline fosters. We exist because of the compassion and love of volunteers, donors and adopters. SPCR is a completely volunteer run organization.
