My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Ginny from the CMPD Animal Care & Control, where I am also a volunteer, We started fostering Ginny when she was about 4 months old. She had been abandoned and had a broken back left hip.

We have given Ginny all of our love & care and gotten her through a very hard time. We advocated for her to have surgery to repair her hip instead of amputating her leg. We finally got the repair surgery approved and it was a great success! We worked with Ginny all during her rehabilitation - doing daily exercises to strengthen her hip and leg - daily walks to increase her strength and balance. She had our heart right from the beginning!

Ginny just turned 1 year old, and we are all so in love with her - she fits in great with the rest of our crew! Ginny has started not getting along with one of our smaller pups - Molly. We think it is probably best to find a very loving home for sweet Ginny so she can live her best life and not feel like she is competing with Molly. We are heartbroken.
