My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bridger has some seriously adorable hops, and we couldn’t stop smiling! Maybe it was just first-day excitement, or maybe that’s his signature move. Either way, it’s completely endearing. Before showing off his hops, Bridger was splooted out on his bed, calmly waiting his turn. Outside, he showed off his sweet, polite nature, proving he’s as lovely as he is bouncy. What a charming and all-around nice guy!

Came in as a stray on 11/10/24.

Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL

The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.

All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.

Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
