Hello everyone! This is Jackson. He’s a 4-year-old dog who’s been a beloved part of our family since 2020, living with me and my 5-year-old. Jackson is playful, affectionate, and a fantastic "guard dog"—he’s quick to alert us if anyone is nearby! While he’s never shown any aggression towards people, he is strong, so he’ll need a sturdy harness for walks (he’ll bring one along to his new home). He’s generally great with other dogs but did have an altercation with a large brown Pitbull, so he might not be the best fit for a home with that type of dog. Jackson loves running, playing with his toys, and getting lots of scratches! He enjoys digging in the yard but is very well-behaved when it comes to bath time.
I’ve posted about Jackson before and ended up changing my mind because he truly is such a sweet dog! However, as a single mother, college student, and with my daughter’s extracurricular activities, I’ve realized I’m just not able to give him the time and attention he truly deserves.
