My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Akimaru, a neutered male Pit Bull mix with a sweet and loving nature, looking for his forever home! Akimaru was surrendered to CHS by his previous owner due to his habit of digging holes, but he's ready for a fresh start in a home where he can feel safe and loved. Akimaru is social with other dogs and enjoys spending time with people, though he can get overstimulated quickly by invasive dogs. Because of this, he would do best in a calm and quiet environment, ideally with respectful dogs who can match his energy. He may start off a little shy and timid, but with time, he warms up and becomes affectionate, enjoying attention and pets from his humans. If you're looking for a dog who may need a little time to adjust but will become a loyal and loving companion, Akimaru could be the perfect fit. With patience and the right environment, he'll thrive and show his true, gentle personality.
