My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾Meet Hugh, lovingly called Hughie🐾
We seek someone who can give Hugh the attention and cuddles he deserves. We will help cover his cost of care long term as our priority is to find him the right forever family.

Hugh is 75 pounds of pure love and has been a part of our family since he was a puppy. He was the only child for 5 years until he gained two human siblings. Some of his best attributes: is great on walks and runs, really loves to cuddle, is crate-trained, and loves the boarders/day play places. Some of his less-ideal behaviors include eating human food when he can get his paws on it (he is known to counter-surf), whining if he is separated from his humans (except if he is in his crate when you leave), and jumping up to greet people when they visit.

Our young daughter is NOT a dog person. The big emotions/anxiety/stress related to this dynamic are just not fair to sweet Hughie and the situation is more than we can handle, sadly. He deserves a peaceful home life!
