My name is Gelato!

Gelato is a fun loving, playful girl that would love to continue her training with an active family. She is house and crate trained, walks on the leash but could use help with learning more basic commands (knows sit, that jumping on you is bad and to play with her toys not other things).

She is a fun, playful girl that thinks everyone should play with her especially other dogs. She loves to run in her yard and would be a great running partner.  Gelato’s favorite activities include romping around with her toys and chasing after tennis balls. Whether it's a game of fetch or a cozy cuddle session, Gelato is always up for some fun.

Gelato is looking for a loving home where she can continue to grow and thrive. She needs a family who can provide her with plenty of playtime, training, and of course, lots of love and attention.

If you are interested in adopting Gelato, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.   

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
