Welcome Sampson to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 9-week-old Chiweenie puppy. His mom is a 7-pound Chiweenie that is small like a mini Dachshund. These puppies are getting lots of attention here at the rescue. Sampson likes being held and is a a tiny bit shy but very sweet around people. He gets along well in his group of 3. He should be under 10 pounds full grown. He is getting his puppy vaccines and will have 3 before he is ready for his neuter surgery. He would be a great pup to travel in a puppy purse and is small enough to go along with you places. All puppies would be best around someone that doesn’t work all day and is home part of the day to finish up the puppy training and keep them social. They need to be with their humans. These puppies can go with children but they should be 8 or older so they don’t hurt these tiny puppies. The children need to be able to be taught and understand how small these puppies are and the small size of the full grown means they will need to always be treated with care. Sampson is currently in Texas at the Rescue. He can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200.
