My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Sasha to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 9-week-old Chiweenie puppy. Her mom is a 7-pound Chiweenie that is small like a mini Dachshund. These puppies are getting lots of attention here at the rescue. Sasha likes being held and is a little shy but very sweet around people. She gets along well in her group of 3. She should be under 10 pounds full grown. She is getting her puppy vaccines and will have 3 before she is ready for her spay surgery. She would be a great pup to travel in a puppy purse and is small enough to go along with you places. All puppies would be best around someone that doesn’t work all day and is home part of the day to finish up the puppy training and keep them social. They need to be with their humans. These puppies can go with children but they should be 8 or older so they don’t hurt these tiny puppies. The children need to be able to be taught and understand how small these puppies are and the small size of the full grown means they will need to always be treated with care. Lilly is currently in Texas at the Rescue. She can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. More about this shelter

C.C.P.A.L. seeks to reduce the enormous problem of pet overpopulation in Bandera County We promote low-cost spay/neuter programs; advise on basic health care & proper shelter for pets & offer excellent dog obedience classes several times each year. Since 2002, CCPAL has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them homes. Our pets are in kennels on an acreage in Texas. We can use a transporter to get them outside of Texas if we find a great home.
