Nubia is a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix who is sweet and affectionate, eagerly seeking her forever home. Though she’s still learning to walk on a leash and working through her nervousness, she’s making great progress. Nubia thrives in a calm and loving environment where she can continue to grow and build confidence. She’s incredibly gentle and would do well with a patient family who can help her feel secure. With a little time, she will blossom into an even more loving companion.

Our adoption requirements are as follows:

We encourage that all members of the family come and visit with the animal (especially children). We do not adopt pets as gifts.

Homes that currently own one or more dogs and are looking for another will have to complete a dog meeting to ascertain compatibility.

More about this shelter

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
