My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tessa is a 10 pound, 1 year old Shih Tzu that was confiscated by our county shelter from a backyard breeder where 60 dogs were neglected. She is shy, timid, quiet, and learning to trust. Tessa gets along wonderfully with all the dogs in our Brooksville rescue. She enjoys chewing on bones, but doesn't know how to play with toys. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, and given flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $350. Kathi's K9s, Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization.We are a small group of volunteers that save dogs from shelters around the entire state of Florida, as well as other southern states. We work closely to accept dogs from other rescue facilities when they are full to capacity.
