My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Barrel

16 weeks, Neutered Male, ~16 lbs

Shepherd Mix

PERSONALITY: This growing pup is full of love, and energy. He would love an active home with other dogs or people to play with him.

LIKES: Toys, treats, wrestling with his brother, and naps on a cozy blanket or dog bed. He loves tearing things into pieces with his mouth, so watch those stuffies!

DISLIKES: Someone stealing his toy

CRATE TRAINING: Doesn't love it, but settles down after a bit.

POTTY TRAINING: Work in progress

OTHER/MISC: BARREL is an intelligent pup and would benefit from puppy classes to help him grow into a lovely member of the household. He will be a medium-large dog when fully grown.

To further inquire about BARREL, submit an online application via our website.

https://wigglytails.org

Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how BARREL will mesh with your lifestyle. Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family.

We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid adoption for BARREL, as well as his future family.

Additional adoption info

The process for adoption through our rescue begins with the adoption application. Once accepted, a meet and greet with the dogs is arranged and includes everyone in the family including other pets. If the dog seems like a good fit, he/she is brought to the home where the dog will be living to make sure it is an appropriate home....ie. dog friendly, fenced yard, etc. Finally, an adoption agreement is signed to insure that the adopter understands what is expected of them.

Go meet their pets

All our dogs are in foster homes prior to finding their forever homes. Please contact us if you see a dog you'd like to meet. We also participate in adoption events at local pet stores.
