Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet our pint-sized gem, Hazel! This adorable, quizzical, funny little girl was recently rescued from one of AAC’s rougher satellite feeding sites, where she was abandoned as a kitten, along with her sister Trixie (also up for adoption), when her owners moved on. AAC’s new adoption program is working hard to find homes for some of the wonderful house cats abandoned on the island and surrounding areas.
Hazel was always one of the first to say hello when we arrived, telling us about her day and wanting love a whole lot more than food. She did great at the vet and is super healthy, vaccinated, spayed and ready for her new life. She is estimated at about 2 years old.
Hazel is doing great acclimating to the pampered home life, as we figured she would. She does watch what her more-outgoing sister Trixie does first, and then she follows her lead. We are still getting to know her, but already she is charming everyone she meets, with her bravery, kindness and giving humans a chance, even when we, at times, have not earned that. Someone is going to very lucky to add her as a new family member. She can be adopted as your “one and only", with her sister Trixie or should do well in an existing cat household with a mindful acclimation (which we can help you with).
Like so many, our little Hazel just needs a chance; and a new family who will gift her a little patience to find her way.
You can meet me in person! I am currently bunking with our dear PetsMart adoption partner friends at 430 William Hilton Pkwy #107 during their retail hours!
INDOOR HOMES ONLY (she has had enough of the streets). For the safety of our cats, home visits required (which can be done at the time of adoption). Adoption fee $50. Our required application can be found here:
