Meet Kermit, a playful and charming little guy with striking green eyes, adorable ear tufts, and high cheekbones that give him a regal look. He purrs like crazy the moment you pick him up—he absolutely loves to be held and cuddled. When he is not cuddling, Kermit is full of energy, chasing and jumping after wand toys with all the enthusiasm of a true kitten. He loves to climb onto your lap, nuzzle for pets, and soak up all the attention. Kermit would also thrive with a kitten companion to keep him company, sharing in his playful adventures. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
