My name is Ginger (Mimi)!

Ginger loves walks and playing with dogs who enjoy the tag, chase, and pack run play styles. She is not much of a wrestler when it comes to play, and will generally back off a bit if the play gets rough.  Ginger also loves belly rubs, chin scratches, and scratches behind the ear. She appreciates the low and slow approach to pets, going quickly overhead can still cause her a bit of anxiety if you catch her off guard. She loves to knaw on a marrow bone and if you need to keep her occupied for a bit that is her favorit treat.  Ginger does ok during bath time, she gets a bit nervous at first but settles in once you start lathering her up. Post bath time she has huge exxagerated wiggles which is a good laugh and fun to watch!

Although Gingers personality is initially hidden by her nervous exterior, once she gets to know you she becomes a very loving and affectionate dog who truly enjoys having some extra structure and advocation in her life. Once you step up and show her you can help her navigate the nervous moments she becomes your best friend. Ginger also can get very excitable with her humans, and likes to play chase with them as well. My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives.
