My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Whitman is a 5-year-old Hound, 55-pound possible Labrador mix of something, he is fully vaccinated, neutered and ready for his forever home!

Whiteman is a great dog, and per his foster, doesn’t understand why no one is looking at him.  Whiteman loves his humans and doesn’t mind other dogs in the home, he would just prefer a quite home where he can be near or on your lap, babies and walking toddlers seem to scare him.

Whiteman is crate and house trained and perfect gentlemen when meeting new people and does decently on a leash.  Whiteman is not cat friendly.

If you're looking for a loyal companion, Whitman could be the perfect match for you!

If you are interested in adopting Whitman, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
