Georgie is the ultimate lap cat, always ready for lots of love and cuddles! He adores curling up in your lap for some one-on-one time and will often settle in close, sleeping above your head or on your chest to stay as close to you as possible. When he’s not cuddling, he loves lounging in his cat tower, enjoying a cozy spot to himself. Sweet, affectionate, and always seeking attention, Georgie is the perfect companion for anyone who enjoys a loving, snuggly friend.

Georgie needs to be on a low fat diet or he will have softer stools. It's ok because he's not a huge fan of dry food anyway!

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!

At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
