Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Darling Darby is now almost 4 mo old and he’s ready for his own, forever home. He currently weighs about 9lbs and he should be approx 14lbs when he’s full grown. Darby is a very social, silly boy that will run up to everyone he meets and immediately rolls on his back for a belly rub. He is very gentle, too, so he’d be a great addition to a home with school age kids. Darby loves to play and wrestle with his siblings and he gets along great with his foster siblings so another playful, small dog in the home would be ideal, but it’s not required. He gets along great with the kitties, too. Darby is a little insecure while he’s learning to walk on a leash, but he’s a very smart boy that is figuring it out quickly. He loves to run around the yard and explore, and he’s not yet fully potty trained so a fenced yard would be best. Because he’s still too young to be neutered, his surgery will be scheduled at the time of adoption

Their adoption process
Additional adoption info
Interested adopters should email info@k9rr.org to request an application. Once complete, the application can be returned via email and quickly reviewed. If approved, we then invite potential adopters to visit with one or more of the dogs that interest them. If the meet and greet goes well, we encourage a week long "trial adoption" to ensure a good match. During that week we communicate often and are available for support and guidance, via phone or email, 24/7.
Unless otherwise specified, K9 R&R adoption fees range from $350-$500 and include all vetting and microchip. We also provide ongoing training tips and help as needed, for the life of the dogs.
K9 R&R is a non-profit, volunteer based organization.

More about this rescue
K9 R&R rescues dogs from shelters and other various facilities across the nation, but focusing primarily on those throughout the west coast. In addition, we help re-home family pets of owners who can no longer care for them. K9 R&R assesses and works with every dog prior to adopting them out and continues to provide support to adopters for the entire life of the dog. K9 Rescue & Rehab was founded with the desire to provide a more thorough, inclusive, supportive approach to dog rescue and re-homing. When adopting a K9 R&R dog, you are not only adding a new family member, but are becoming part of an extended family that is always there to support you in hard times and celebrate with you in joyful ones.
