My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Lord Zahir of Fluffington!

My favorite thing to do is Sleep.... I love to sleep. Don't get me wrong, I'll play, but sleep is my jam. I can sleep anywhere at anytime. I also am very treat motivated. I can hear that jar open from a mile away and I'll come running.

What makes me special is three things I love... Treats, gimmie gimmie Ice, I love when the humans get ice and one drops on the floor. So fun to lick and play with. Sleep, I will sleep anywhere. As soon as you pick me up and hold me like a baby, my eyes are shut and I'm out like a light. I basically always look like I'm half-asleep.

I want my new owner to know I am "persian-ish" which means I need daily grooming to keep my coat from matting. I also need my eyes cleared of crusties every day. I need love and cuddles, so make sure you have time for me.

When I am feeling playful I like to... Play with my siblings, tunnels, ice, balls, springs and dangle toys. When it is time to rest I sleep where ever I happen to be at that moment... I'm out.

I am good with Cats, Dogs, Kids

By nature I am...Cuddly, Playful, Lazy, Social, Affectionate, I like to be held.

Fees for adoption range from $200 for dogs over 1 year and $350 for puppies. For cats over 1 year adoption fee is $150 - Kittens are $175.

Fees for adoption range from $200 for dogs over 1 year and $350 for puppies.
For cats over 1 year adoption fee is $150 - Kittens under a year are $175. All adoptions will require an adoption contract and all animals will be current on all age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped before adoption.

AZ Center for Animal Rescue and Education (AZ CARE) is a non-profit all breed dog and cat rescue in Arizona. We are dedicated to reducing the euthanasia rate in our state through education, spay/neuter programs and adoption events. Our network of foster homes provide a safe haven for dogs/cats while they wait for their forever homes. Our education programs will include youth programs to get the next generation involved in the pet overpopulation epidemic and strive to find a way to end the suffering in our shelters, state and nation wide.
