Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: Mitchell, SD
Hello! My name is Tobias, a.k.a. Tobi or Big Handsome. You may have noticed that I'm missing something. Due to my physical condition coming into Rescue Network, my leg needed to be amputated (done on 11/7). I'm still healing, but let me tell you missing a leg doesn't phase me, I'm getting around very well! I do well on the stairs coming in and outside of the house, but I'm still on restrictions so I'm not allowed to do much right now.
My foster parents haven't been able see much of my personality much with me having to take it easy - but they know I'm a lover. I'm so chill and down for anything. Im big and fluffy with the softest coat. I'm a lover through and through and just want to show everyone what a good boy I am.
I am potty trained and keep my kennel clean. I am very good about going outside and doing my business right away. I do very well in a kennel. Give me a treat and I will go right in for you. I do however prefer to have free roam of the garage so I can stretch. I am very intelligent and food motivated. I cannot wait to learn more! I have not shown food or toy aggressive. I haven't been able to play much, but I do enjoy a good bone or toy.
My foster family has four resident dogs and myself. I haven't had any negative reactions towards them. I have two big dog siblings and two wiener dog siblings, and I like them all. I have not been around cats, so I don't know whether or not I'd be willing to co exist or chase.
Whether you're a first-time dog owner or already have furry babies of your own, I am a perfect boy that can fit in anywhere! I'm ready to find a home where I can be a dog that is loved and cared for and is able to spend lots of time with my humans!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
