Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: Montrose, MN
Meet Ricky! The gentle giant. He is a bit of a bull in a china shop that doesn't know he's a bull. Ricky is very gentle and loving. Ricky is still learning how to accept love but he is more than happy to give it. Ricky has a moderate to high energy level but can also be convinced to snuggle on the couch to wind down. Ricky is very playful with our other dog but doesn't always know when he's had enough. He would do well with another playful or very understanding dog. Ricky is great with kids but doesn't always know which toys are his or theirs. Ricky does well in his crate if given a Kong with treats or other distractions. Ricky is a bit mischievous when left unattended. Ricky does best without a bed or any kind of mat in his crate as he has ripped up a couple in there. Ricky is doing well on potty training outside. He's still working on how to communicate this need. Ricky is a jumper and we are working on "down command regularly. He is responding well to treat training. Ricky does well on a leash with a collar or harness. He is easily distracted by noises happening around him and will pull in the other direction but seems easily redirectable. Ricky would do best with a patient owner who can give consistent training and routine. Ricky wants to learn and wants to love and most of all be loved. Ricky is a very sweet boy who wants to continue to learn and please his humans.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
