Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Lovely to look at Olivia" and she knows it! What a beautiful girl she is with her care free super silky luxurious coat, long plumed tail and those luminous gold eyes! Olivia loves to be talked to and admired. "Look at me" she says "Yes please, you may tell me I am beautiful!" This girl is a gobsmacking show stopper that's for sure; and a sweet kitty too. Olivia is not at all aggressive, never hisses or growls. She is not assertive.
Olivia came to her present home as the fourth pet. There were two other kitties and a small dog. She coexisted with them on her cautious terms. Her owners are preparing for a long-distance relocation which has placed them in the position of needing to find the perfect adopters for their kitties. Two of three have been successfully placed in wonderful homes leaving Olivia as the last one.
Come to find out she seems much happier and less guarded being the only kitty in the household. She had pretty much kept to herself, but now she has become much more interactive, liking to be petted while she eats her food, and receives her favorite treats. We think she will continue to unfold and may begin to take an interest in playing with cat toys without the competition from other pets getting to them first.
While she is not a lap cat per se, she does stay in close proximity to her people. Olivia likes to be in the same room to sit with you by your chair or the couch while relaxing. She will sit on the couch when no one is using it. Olivia's favorite room is the Master Bedroom. When their small dog pressures her she trots off to her 'safe place' beneath the master bedroom bed. This is where she likes to sleep at night as well, in her own cozy bed. She sleeps on top of the bed during the day.
We think Olivia would be the happiest cat in the world if she could have a life in a fairly quiet environment as the only pet, continuing as the indoor-only kitty she has always been.
She will do well where someone is home most of the time, with a sunny window to watch birds and see other outdoor activity. Respectful children over the age of 12 might be a plus for Olivia if they are gentle and persuasive in helping her to trust them. Will you give Olivia the chance to unfold into the sweet companion kitty she is meant to be? If so, she is waiting to meet you to be your beautiful girl!
Olivia is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her owner in Brentwood.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.
If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Olivia please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Additional adoption info
READY TO ADOPT?
The first step in the adoption process for your new kitty is to submit an adoption application. The second step is to contact the foster home listed on the specific cat(s) or kittens you are interested in to find out more. Are you adopting a kitten? Kittens do best when they have a friend or two to grow up with! Kittens who grow up with another feline friend tend to be well-behaved, well-adjusted, and overall happier. Purebred Plus Cat Rescue kittens are typically adopted as pairs or as a single kitten to homes with an appropriate feline playmate. If you prefer only one kitten, we strongly encourage you to consider one of our wonderful older kittens or young adult cats that are available!

Our cats are neutered or spayed, vaccinated and FELV/FIV tested. We are not a shelter. All of our cats are fostered in private homes. The whole goal of the adoption process is to ensure the cat or kitten is a good fit for you, the adopter, and your environment. We are looking for the best fit NOT first come first serve. We always focus on what is the best for the cat or kitten.
When you adopt from Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue, you are saving TWO lives - the cat you adopt and the cat who gets to take its place in rescue!
