How Marceline arrived:
Marceline was brought in by a community member.

Why Marceline might be the one for you:
Marceline is a fun girl, , ready to play the day away. Her foster family says that Marceline is an amazing dog. Amazing!! Marceline loves going on long walks and will walk by your side for as long as you are walking her. She is great with other dogs that she meets while walking. She is a quiet dog with her family. She likes her people and is very loyal and protective of them - that means you if you take this good girl home. She does not like to be left alone for long periods. If you want a new doggie friend to bring more fun into your life, reach out to us and we will arrange for you to meet the good dog Marceline. She is a gem.

At SDHS:
Marceline has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered and is now ready for her new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
