My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kindhearted Kara is a gentle, not-so-giant. Keen-eyed and kindly, Kara surveys the world around her constantly, which can get overwhelming for a tiny but mighty brave soul. Thankfully, playing with her fellow shelter residents has been helping her walls come down. Overall, it seems she prefers to settle on a nice warm lap than get her paws dirty with the the rest of the group. It just may be karmic chance that Kara is available at the same time you are considering adding a new family member... Is it possible you`re kindred spirits? Take sweet Kara home.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
