My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We love speckles! Speckles and Merle must be the hottest trend in the backyard breeder industry because we are seeing them more than ever before. Solomon is another big boy - tall, lanky - and loves treats! Solomon knows sit, has gorgeous markings, and loves treats. He'd really love to be getting those treats in a new home!

Came in as a stray on 11/2/24
Found near 11700 S Wallace, Chicago

Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL

The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.

All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.

Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
