Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Rigel is the nicest of the nice! Even with a face full of first day drool, we couldn't get enough of him. There is something special about Rigel. He is gentle and mellow - qualities that make it easy to spend time with him. He is smart too. Rigel knows basic commands and allows handling all over. He has the cutest woof when he gets nervous that is followed quickly by tail wags. We are happy to report the drool has slowed down so no more soaking wet hands from petting him!
Came in as a stray on 10/28/24
Found with A283870 near 3700 W Chicago, Chicago
Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL
The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.
Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
