Frodo is a short-haired tabby born in Feb 2023 to a stray cat and was rescued as a kitten while living in Tucson, AZ. He has moved with us to Poway, CA, and we have just grown too busy to give him the attention he deserves. Previously, he was an indoor/outdoor cat, and he loves laying in the sun, climbing trees and chasing lizards. Due to our recent move, he is now a fully indoor cat (too many cars and coyotes in our neighborhood). He has always been very patient and tolerant of our young toddler son. We are looking to rehome him to a loving home for free. Frodo would do well in a house that is calm (he loves long naps), but also have someone to play and snuggle with. We hope to give him to someone with a backyard, where it may be safe for him to get some outdoor time. He is healthy, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. He does best on a Urinary Food diet (mix of wet and dry food to prevent crystals in urine), and currently takes 1 pill daily (Fluoxetine) to treat anxiety.
