Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Quiet, Curious, Lump of Love!
Puffin is a big boy with vibrant, soulful eyes and handsome tabby stripes. This fella spends most of his day lounging in his cozy kitty cube, peeking out for snacks or soft hellos. He’s a little shy with new faces, but with patience, soft words, and maybe a treat or two, he’ll come out to show his affectionate side.
Recently, Puffin has really opened up. He surprised us by climbing into a volunteer’s lap, soaking up pets, and even showing off his belly—a true sign of trust! He loves gentle head rubs and leans into every bit of love he’s offered. While he’s still working on his confidence and slimming down from his almost 16 pounds, he’s well on his way to becoming a lap cat (once he fits, of course!).
Since Puffin isn’t completely comfortable in the shelter, we give him anxiety meds to feel at ease. These are inexpensive, and he doesn’t even realize he’s taking them since they’re mixed into his dinner—no stress, all love!
Puffin thrives in a quiet, calm home with kind humans who understand his needs and are ready to help him feel safe and adored. In return, he’ll reward you with gentle meows, cuddles, and his perfectly chill presence.
Let us introduce you to Puffin, you’re bound to fall for this fantastic feline!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
