Lemon Meringue Pie is a sweet and energetic 2-year-old German Shepherd girl with a zest for life! This playful pup loves going for walks, but she's still learning how to walk nicely on a leash and could use some help with basic commands. Lemon is looking for a patient and loving family who can help her learn and grow. She has a very high prey drive and gets a little too excited around cats, so a feline-free home is a must. If you're looking for a loyal companion to bring lots of love and laughter into your life and can provide her with the training and guidance she needs, Lemon Meringue Pie might be the perfect girl for you!🍋💖

For In-Person Adoptions at the Shelter, visit during open hours. For pets in foster care, apply on that pet at www.multcopets.org

Meet the Pet

At the shelter, adopters will be able to meet a maximum of three (3) pets per visit, with ten (10) minutes per pet.

Take the Pet Home

Adoptions are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Adopters will not be able to submit applications to adopt animals in advance, or place adoption holds on animals.

Adopters will be able to meet a maximum of three (3) pets per visit, with ten (10) minutes per pet.
We will be unable to assist with pet-to-pet meets. Please keep your furry friends at home, adoptable pets will not be able to meet resident pets at the shelter.
Prepare enough time for your visit. Adopters should expect that it may be up to two (2) hours at the shelter to process an adoption, including meeting pets, an adoption consultation, and waiting periods. Wait times may be significantly longer on weekends.

We are the primary agency responsible for lost pet care, animal abuse investigations and animal rescue in Multnomah County. We also offer dog and cat licensing, lost and found pet services, and animal adoptions through our shelter in Troutdale. MCAS is a division of the Multnomah County Department of Community Services (DCS).
