Fitz!

Fitz is a little over 1 year old puppy-minded curious dog that is always looking for love. I had adopted him from a very poor situation that he was in with a household of neglect, and got him back to full health. Fitz is very relaxed energy when we hang out on the couch, take a walk without other dogs, and even during bath time. The current apartment living situation is not for him however with other dogs, new sounds, the city environment, etc., and he would flourish in a home with a yard that he can sniff in endlessly and loves to run. While he knows when it is time to chill out, he loves to be outside which is likely a result of his prior owner(s) who seemed to have kept him outside most of the day. Fitz knows basic commands like sit, stay, lay down, no, etc., but is always eager to learn and please, and is very food driven which has made training much less of a challenge. Fitz is an amazingly loving companion but deserves a home that allows him to be more free.
