Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Odie is an orange teddy bear in disguise! He has thick, medium fur and puppy dog eyes that will make you melt. He loves to play and will crash on your lap after.
He and his siblings were living behind a Walgreens, and all they want for Christmas is a forever home!
Born around 10/4, they will be available for our local foster-to-adopt program just after the Thanksgiving holiday! Odie will be neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to final adoption - and he is already a litter box champ.
Odie is fostered by Friends of Rescue in Huntsville, AL. Apply to meet this cutie at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FORR/Cat. And if you are interested in a pair, he would love to be adopted with one of his brothers - Garfield or Nermal.

We have many wonderful dogs looking for homes! Our dogs are mainly fostered in one of our many experienced foster homes. All of our animals receive rabies vaccine, distemper/parvo vaccine, bordatella, microchip, and spay/neuter, as well as being kept current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. All of our dogs come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee of $450 covers their complete age appropriate vetting, as well as transportation to your area.
Our rescue doesn't have an actual facility in the New England area. Due to this it is not possible to meet them prior to their adoption. Our dogs are brought up to their new owners weekly! Our transport service is certified through the USDA. We have a 14 day no questions asked money back guarantee and the dog can be returned to us if things do not work out. We try hard to make good matches with our animals and their adopters so that everyone has a happy life together! Our foster homes love the animals in their homes and will fully disclose everything about them – some can even Skype or send videos for you to see them in action.
We can provide references from other rescues, previous New England adopters, and our veterinarians if requested.
Go to www.FORrescue.net and click on "Adoption" and then "Applications" to apply for the animal you are interested in adopting.
Please email us at info@FORrescue.net with any questions you might have about FOR or our adoption process.

More about this rescue
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2009, consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter animals that are in danger of euthanasia. Southern shelters have a constant overflow of dogs and cats, little funding, and limited space. Once the animals arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable animals and find loving individuals/families who will provide committed, FORever homes. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these animals from euthanasia. Each animal in our program is in a foster home and receives all age-appropriate vetting while in our care.
