Popeye is a loyal and energetic companion looking for a new home. He’s 6 years old, well-trained, smart, and playful. He thrives in a calm environment where he can receive the attention and care he deserves. He’s a great running/walking partner.
Unfortunately Popeye does not do well in households with small children. While he is generally friendly and affectionate, he can become anxious or reactive around young kids. For this reason, we are looking for an adult-only home or a family with older, dog-savvy teenagers who can understand his boundaries.
Popeye would be a wonderful fit for someone who has experience with dogs and can provide consistent training and structure.
If you’re an experienced dog owner looking for a loyal friend, Popeye might be the perfect match. With a little patience and the right setting, he has the potential to be an incredible companion.
