Say Hello to adorable Petunia! She came to us from a local reservation very pregnant and we couldn't wait to see what kind of pups she was going to deliver. Of course they are all super cute! Petunia is a friendly well adjusted Pug mix of about 30 pounds. We don't know what she is mixed with as there could be several breeds in this compact little girl. She is about 2 years of age and ready to settle into a forever home. She has been in foster care with her puppies and has gotten along well with their own dogs and their children. They have worked with her on potty training and she is doing great with that, of course in a new home, she will need to be house trained to new routines. Petunia is going in for her spay surgery this week as her puppies are now weaned and be ready to go into a home starting 11/28. Petunia is up to date on her vaccinations and has a microchip. Our adoption fees do vary depending on the animal and all pets go to new owners already spayed and neutered, vaccinated and wormed. All adopters are given a two week adoption trial with an exchange guarantee if the animal does not work out. We require a completed adoption application, which is on line on our website, and a signed care contract. All pets go out with a copy of their signed agreement and a copy of their medical record. Fees for adult cats are $60-75 and kittens are $75. Fees for dogs are $125 to $200 for adult mixed breed up to $300 for purebred, small dog puppies.

Go meet their pets

TRACS offers appointments daily 1-5 PM during the week excluding Mondays to see and meet adoptable pets. Tracs also adopts cats and kittens from Petsmart in Missoula, Montana. We have adoption days for dogs and cats at Petsmart additionally about 6 times a year. We also attend annual adoption events in the Missoula and Kalispell areas of Montana.

TRACS has been in operation for 7 years and we have taken in and adopted out 3000 animals (as of 11/1/2013). We are mostly volunteers and pride ourselves on the fact that we have a new facility (small and humble but very comfortable) and have had for 2 years. We are a small budget organization and we receive no municipal or county support. We totally depend on donations to keep up our good work. We accept all donations of food, bedding, litter, or anything else that folks like to give us. Of course, monetary contributions are very much needed and are fully tax deductible. TRACS is a 501c3 organization
