My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Timber was transferred in from a local dog warden. He is VERY shy at first with people but does warm up very well. He loves other young dogs and follows their lead to show him how great people can be! He is okay with kids but would do better in a home with ages 10+! I think he could adjust to younger, but would be better suited for a less chaotic home at this point in life. He is very playful and does need to be with other dogs. He could run for hours with his foster dog friends! He will require a fenced in yard due to fear of leash. This is also something we are working on. He is crate trained and does very well in it. He’s not as vocal as your typical husky! He is a very loving guy once you put some time and patience into him. He stays right by your side and loves to be close to you! Give him a chance and you will be inseparable!

Additional adoption info

If you see a pet you are interested in, please fill out our adoption application. We review carefully and will only place in homes that would be best fit! Example, if you have many small children and pets, we would not place a timid pet in your home. We do this so there is less chance of returning to our rescue! If we think we have a better fit for you, we will make suggestions!
