Hi everyone, I am a handsome little Chihuahua/Terrier mix named Napoleon. I am about 5 years old, weigh 13 lbs, and missing the toes on my right rear leg leaving just a nub. My mobility is not affected at all, but occasionally I will limp or skip as I walk. I was living a miserable life with my owner and 5 other dogs in San Antonio Texas when the city confiscated us due to neglect and we all had mange but then put us on their euthanasia list. Thankfully, my foster mom saved us all, and with a little time, a little patience, and special medicated baths, we are all now healthy & happy with scruffy coats, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find WAY better owners!
I am a sweet boy, shy at first, but once I know you are nice, I’m your biggest fan. I like all people and other dogs, enjoy running and playing and chasing my doggy friends, and playing with my doggy toys. I have a go-with-the-flow attitude, a medium energy level, and love to be near my humans. I’m well-behaved, housebroken, and only bark when I need to alert you. I get to be loose in the house and sleep on the bed at night, and although I’m not in love with being in a crate, I tolerate it without complaining. I hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet little dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started! Inquire about me today and bring me home!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
