My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willa is the definition of a loving companion. This sweet, calm-natured girl loves nothing more than curling up with her humans for cuddles. Whether it's a cozy nap on the couch or a quiet evening by your side, Willa is content just being with her people. Her gentle demeanor makes her an ideal dog for families, singles, or anyone looking for a loyal, affectionate companion.
Despite her calm nature, Willa has a playful side too! She enjoys running around and playing with her doggy friends, so she'd do well in a home with other dogs who can match her energy.
She's the kind of dog who will melt your heart with her sweet eyes and affectionate nature.
Willa is looking for a loving home where she can be part of the family. She's great with other dogs, and would love to have a dog sibling to play with.
If you're looking for a laid-back, affectionate dog who loves cuddling, playing, and getting along with others, Willa could be your new best friend!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
