More about this shelter

The Forney Animal Shelter is a beautiful facility. We pick up stray animals within the city limits of Forney and take owner surrenders when space permits. Stray animals that have microchips are held for 7 days. Animals without i.d. are held for 3 days. If the animals are not reunited with owners within the holding period, they can be adopted. We have both dogs and cats available at the shelter.
