Meet Door Stop!

Door Stop is a spunky little kitten who is always getting into mischief. Always down for an adventure, she can be found pouncing on toys, darting around with energy to spare, and turning every moment into an opportunity for fun.

Social and playful, Door Stop loves hanging out with other cats and is always up for a game of chase or a snuggle session after a long playdate. Her enthusiasm doesn't stop there—she's also a big fan of wet food and treats, always excited to see what deliciousness is on the menu.

Though she’s still young and full of energy, Door Stop is pretty adaptable and would likely get along just fine with dogs. If you're looking for a spunky, sweet kitten with plenty of love to give and plenty of playfulness to share, Door Stop is the perfect addition to your family!

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and FeLV-FIV negative.

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family. We welcome all adopters, from any county or state.

We prefer if you complete an application prior to meeting the animals so we can help you make a great match.

Our shelter is located at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo in southern lower Michigan about 20 miles north of the Ohio border.

The Greater Hillsdale Humane Society is a nonprofit, privately funded organization dedicated to promoting the welfare of companion animals in Hillsdale County, Michigan. This is accomplished through education, quality and compassionate care of the animals received at the shelter, and community outreach. GHHS obtains funding through donations, fees for services, and fundraisers.
