My story

My name is Baby. My old owner, before she passed, saved me from a life on the streets as a stray. She called me "Baby Dog" for so long... my name just stuck. I loved her dearly but now I find myself looking for my next special person or people to give me a great life for the rest of my years. I have a lot of them ahead of me! I am a great mature age at 5 years old AND I am only 35 lbs. I look a lot bigger in my pictures! I am independent, out of puppy stages, I am housebroken. I don't need a crate (which is good because I don't have much experience with one). I am very dog friendly and I walk well on a leash. I am also cat friendly. I have been around children but not super little ones consistently. I am really a great companion. If you are person that wants a sidekick I fit the mold in a lot of ways. Interview

ASCZ will contact you for a phone call within 72 hours after submission of your application. Please check your spam for our emails!

Additional adoption info

Please email info@asecondchanceforziva.com for an adoption application if interested in adopting or fostering a dog from ASCZ and please email us after you have submitted an application. After all checks on the application have been completed, the potential adopter will speak with the rescue to discuss what they are looking for and if a dog will be a great fit in their home. Once an application is submitted, the adopter will hear from the rescue within 72 hours.

The fee for puppies under 6 months is $525 and the fee for dogs 6 months and older is $425. This fee contributes to (but not limited to) all core vaccinations for each puppy/dog, microchip, spay/neuter, HW testing and prevention and flea/tick prevention while under the rescue's care and transportation.

A Second Chance for Ziva, Inc. (ASCZ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs regardless of breed, size or age. ASCZ rescues, cares for and adopts out homeless dogs into loving and responsible homes. The rescue does not have a shelter but rather we rely on devoted fosters that open their homes and provide love and comfort to our dogs.
