My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

She came to a rural TN shelter after Animal Control was called to a property where a mama golden retriever was shot and killed by a dealer when he didnt get payment for the drugs he sold. 3 of her siblings died of starvation before Animal Control was called. Drug addiction is heartbreaking but still no excuse for animal cruelty. Cary has been a bottle baby since she was just a week old, so she is quite comfortable with humans. Ive fed her every 2 hours around the clock for 5 weeks now and loved every minute of getting to know her silly personality. Shes a snuggler- she prefers to fall asleep on my chest after a feeding but will lower her standards to her stuffies if needed. She loves other dogs and isnt the slightest bit scared of my crew of large dogs. Shes been raised around cats and learned quickly to ignore them. Shes smart and will LOVE training. We believe she is a golden retriever x labrador retriever cross, based on the animals on the property from which she was confiscated. Cary deserves a home that will spoil her rotten. She will likely be a large dog. She will definitely be a good dog. All our dogs/cats are vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, on preventions, and spayed/neutered if old enough.
