My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Blue and I was rescued by some kind employees at a warehouse here in town. Trucks were going in and out all of the time. Me and my friend Chica were dodging both trucks and cars in the parking and loading areas. Someone called about us and Animal Control came out to pick us up. Whew! I was happy for the ride to safety. We were never claimed and now we are up for adoption. I am an eighteen-month-old terrier mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. One little problem did show up on my health check up. I am heartworm positive. I am not worried, because the shelter already has my first treatment scheduled. I am hoping that Chica and I can be adopted together. Do you have room in your home for two sweet dogs like us?

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
