Toya is a resilient and loving girl who came to us with three other dogs. Between them, they cared for 11 puppies! She was found in a warehouse alongside her companions, Jackie, Janet, and the puppies.

Initially, Toya might be a little shy when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, she warms up and becomes your loyal little shadow. Her love and trust are well worth the wait!

Since her potty training history is unknown, her new family may need to help her adjust to a new routine. With encouragement, she’ll settle in beautifully.

More about this rescue

Arizona Small Dog Rescue is a non profit registered 501(c)3 no kill rescue shelter. We are a group of volunteers who have dedicated our lives to rescuing and saving homeless, unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused small dogs. We save most of our animals from kill shelters around the valley, but also accept owner surrenders and stray surrenders. Owner surrender fee’s vary depending on space and availability. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, medically examine, microchip, and evaluate and/or socialize all dogs that come into our rescue before placing up for adoption to pre-screened homes. We rescue many dogs every week and always have a wide variety of personalities and breeds available who would be a perfect fit for any family and any home.
