My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please read the pet description IN IT'S ENTIRETY before applying.  Thank you for your cooperation.

LOOKING FOR OWNER!
Senior dog found off of Courtland Way, Palmetto area, Benton, La. An employee of  Countryside Veterinary Clinic  found her and contacted us.

She's at our rescue now. We have notified Bossier City Animal Control and legally she is theirs and we are only a medical foster through stray hold. Once stray is up, she will legally be under our rescue.

Please message our FACEBOOK page if this is your dog. (Note: We posted some pictures in the comments of her condition on our Facebook post. She was also infested with fleas and had super long nails that Countryside trimmed. She is also emaciated and very matted to include matting around her rear and female area making it nearly impossible for her to defecate or urinate.)

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”  ~ Gandhi

Be responsible ~  Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life.  Blessings.
