My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Noodle, the  soulful pup with a mysterious past and a heart full of love. Formerly known as Long Legs Larie, this sweet 3-year-old mystery mix (possibly Havanese, Schnoodle, or a mix of both) was rescued from the streets of New Jersey and has since blossomed into an affectionate, playful companion.

What makes Noodle special? Well, she’s got that quiet, rocker vibe—calm but playful, loving but independent. She thrives in a peaceful, secure environment and loves being around other dogs, especially male pups. If you're looking for a dog who enjoys cozy cuddles, calm walks, and is ready for a relaxed life full of love, Noodle might be your perfect match.

A few key notes on Noodle's personality and needs:

  • Affectionate: Noodle craves love and attention from her people. She's the type to curl up by your side after a long day and just be with you.

  • Quick Learner: Whether it's walking on a leash or learning new tricks, she’s quick to pick things up.

  • Healthy and Ready: Recently spayed and in top shape, she’s ready to move on from her past and start her new life.

  • Dog-Friendly: Noodle is great with other dogs, especially males. A home with another playful pup would make her heart happy.

  • Sensitive: She prefers a calm, predictable environment, so she would do best in a home without young children or lots of loud, fast movements.

Noodle is ready to leave her "Long Legs Larie" days behind and start the next chapter of her life with a loving family. If you're looking for a low-maintenance, loyal companion who can relax with you but also bring some fun to your life, Noodle is the one for you. Would you be the home she’s been waiting for?

Noodle is ready to leave her "Long Legs Larie" days behind and start the next chapter of her life in a loving, permanent home. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion, Noodle might just be the perfect fit!

She is being fostered in Philadelphia, and her potential adopter will need to travel to her location to meet her

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are with fosters on the east coast. The location in which the foster resides should be listed with each profile.

We are setting up some adoption events now, but are free for private meet and greets if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
