My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs on leaving either 12/5/24 or 12/7/24 to NorCal and OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We would love to add Anastasia to our trip for the right home 💙
Meet our beautiful Anastasia 💕 She is a purebred, 6 month old, apricot colored standard poodle. I don't have her weight yet, as she is set to be seen at our vet in the next week for her exam. Once I have her weight, I'll update it here 🙂 She is current on all vaccines, and has recieved every puppy vaccine. At the time of her exam she will receive her 1 year da2pp, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines as well! She will also be microchipped, have a fecal test sent in to the lab clearing her of any worms, (and will be dewormed if needed) and will go home with a health certificate from our vet prior to adoption ☺️
She is crate trained, and sleeps in her crate at night which she doesn't mind one bit. She hangs out in our home throughout the day, and loves to be a part of all we do whether we are just hanging out, or watching tv. (She loves watching tv with us.)
Leash training is going really well, and she is learning to love her walks. She really enjoys smelling everything she can, so it makes walks very enjoyable for her and us because she really tries not to miss a thing which makes us take it all in through her eyes which is a beautiful site if you ask me ❤️
She is house trained, and will go outside to use the restroom throughout the day when asked to.
She loves to play outdoors, and while we were house training her she would go outiside and not want to come back in 😂 but now she has learned the comfort of being inside, and will go potty only to come right back in to see what you are doing 🙂
She is very outgoing, and loves meeting people. She is VERY sweet, and kind hearted. She has a beautiful temperament. She is serene natured, and has a huge love for life, and all that's in it. She is a remarkable dog, and one you will want to call yours 💕
She is wonderful with all dogs, and cats alike! She is EVERYONES friend, and has the type of personality that would come in and greet everyone with love, and admiration just for allowing her to be a part of their life ❤️
She is not a barker, but will playfully bark when happy. She LOVES water 🙂 Yes, a poodle that really enjoys to get her feet wet! She listens very well, and comes to us when called (unless she is having a really great time playing 😂 which she will then make eye contact to let you know she hears you and then will proceed to convince you that you need to come and play with her too 🤣 and yes! She is very convincing so be prepared 😉
She is WONDERFUL on road trips around town, and loves knowing that the road takes you to so many new places. She is always ready to explore the world, so if you are looking for a friend to spend your life with where she will be YOUR light, and YOUR joy then Anastasia us YOUR girl ♥️♥️♥️
She came in with her brother (his name is Alexander and yes, he is available for adoption too so make sure to look out for his adoption listing as he is equally wonderful 💙) from a family who bought both from their breeder when they were 8 weeks old.
They decided on two of them so they could keep one another company as they grew up.
Unfortunately they realized with their work schedules, and extensive traveling that having two young pups wasn't the best decision they made, and admitted they didn't think it through they way they should have so they reached out to us to take them in and find them the homes they deserve.
Adoption fee is on our website under her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/anastasia.It covers her vet costs, care associated in the time she has been with us, her grooming costs, and her training we have personally done with her.
Travel costs are in addition to her adoption fee if we are transporting her to you pending where you are located. (Which we will happily do for the right family!)
She is set to be groomed on 11/25/24. I'll update photos here as soon as she is back home with us so make sure to check back, as she is beautiful!

Their adoption process

1.

Interview

When we have out of area adoptions, we always schedule a phone interview first to ensure the dog inquired about is the perfect fit.

2.

Home Check

We request photos/videos of your home and yard space to ensure it's safe for the dog you are inquiring about.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Once all requirements are met, we will schedule a travel plan to bring your pup/dog to you. Adoption contracts are usually signed in person.

4.

Pay Fee

Adoption fees are paid in person, unless other arrangements have been made due to distance/travel plans requiring fees to be paid ahead

5.

Take the Pet Home

Once all above is met, the dog becomes the new adopting families pet and goes home with them.

Additional adoption info

Please check out our website As it explains a lot there at breadoflifek9refuge.org.
Since we travel out of state and all over the US we offer transportation whether by car, or flight as long as transport costs are covered. During our initial phone interview we will discuss any and all concerns to ensure every adoption goes as smoothly as possible from beginning to end.
