My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Heinz is great with other animals, very curious and playful, potty-trained, loves running outdoors and is very playful. She goes with everything, just like her namesake. She is a professional at playgroup, encouraging everyone to join in the fun and splashing around in the pool even in cold weather. Heinz might be a bit much for smaller children simply because she is so enthusiastic about life it's hard for her to keep her feet on the ground!

Additional adoption info

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.

More about this shelter

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
