Meet Ivy, a true gem of a senior pup who is simply wonderful in every way. This sweet girl was found as a stray, and though it’s hard to believe, no one came to claim her. Ivy has a gentle, loving nature that’s impossible to resist. At around 9 years old, she’s full of charm with her salt-and-pepper coat and big, soulful brown eyes.
Ivy does have a history of chronic skin infections, but with the right diet and regular baths, her skin has greatly improved and is very manageable. Despite her age, Ivy still has a surprising pep in her step! She enjoys her daily walks, does great on a leash, and keeps up with ease. She’s also a devoted cuddle buddy and loves nothing more than to snuggle up in any available lap.
Ivy is good with other dogs and would fit well in a family with children. Her ideal home would be one with senior dog experience, where she can continue to enjoy life to the fullest and be lovingly cared for in her golden years. Home Check
We will come out to make sure your home is safe for a Pug; if you live out of area we can do the home check via Skype or FaceTime.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
You can make an appointment to come pick out a Pug or you can also do that at one of our events (see our event page on website).

We require an application either online through our website or in person at our facility or one of our events. Once we receive the application we will schedule a home visit. After approval, you are eligible to adopt any available dog. Our fees range from $75 - $550 depending upon age. $550 would be for a pure pug puppy (which we rarely get), $75 would be for our senior for senior program. Full price list available on our website.

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities.
